About Dr. Nicholas Hershfield PT, DPT, OCS
Nicholas Hershfield holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercy University and a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. He is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Nicholas spent six years as an Advanced Clinician and Clinical Manager at the Hospital for Special Surgery, developing deep expertise in post-operative & non-operative orthopedic and sports-related care. He has presented internationally on shoulder impingement (SPS), sharing insights into the latest evidence-based shoulder rehabilitation techniques.
As a former collegiate baseball player, Nicholas combines firsthand athletic experience with advanced clinical expertise, helping active individuals and athletes optimize their movement, recover efficiently, and perform at their best. His holistic, concierge approach ensures each client's personalized program fits seamlessly into their lifestyle—whether through in-home visits, virtual coaching, or in-gym sessions.
In his free time, Nicholas enjoys staying active through golf, basketball, running, and snow sports, and he is passionate about inspiring others to lead active, healthy lifestyles.
